Application Process
How do I join?
Demand a Seat is open to anyone who is interested in running for office as a Gun Sense Candidate, as well as anyone who is interested in working on, or volunteering for, campaigns of Gun Sense Candidates.
To qualify for Demand a Seat, you must be a volunteer with your local Moms Demand Action or Students Demand Action chapter in order to satisfy program requirements.
Individuals who have not previously volunteered with Moms Demand Action, Students Demand Action, or the Everytown Survivor Network are eligible to apply and be accepted into Demand a Seat. However, they will be expected to participate in at least 3 events or actions in support of their local chapter in order to be eligible to graduate from the program.
